This continuing education course prepares emergency department clinicians to make rapid, confident triage decisions when caring for pediatric patients. Designed for providers in general or mixed-age EDs, the course focuses on practical application of pediatric triage tools and prioritization strategies. Topics include pediatric ESI levels, the Pediatric Assessment Triangle (PAT), Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), vital sign interpretation, pediatric pain scales, and nonpharmacologic comfort techniques. Participants will also learn how to integrate the SafeDose platform into triage workflows for improved accuracy and pediatric safety.
